Company chosen for City Hall renovation

The Maryville City Council has chosen a company when it comes to the expansion and renovation of City Hall.

City Manager, Greg McDanel, says the City Council approved a contract with Strata Architecture and Preservation this week. The company will be designing the project.

"We currently have approximately seventeen employees that work here at City Hall and it remains outdated ...... have a few issues to be ADA compliance and mechanical systems."

McDanel says they will get two to three project options and designs, along with costs, for consideration. Strata's bid came in a little under the $50,000 that was budgeted by the city for the design phase of the project.
